Golden Retriever Love Brigade!

The Golden Retriever Love Brigade is back! Celebrate our independence and spread the love in Gualala and Point Arena this year!

Bring your Golden to the Cypress Center on Saturday, July 6th or Pt. Arena on Sunday, July 7th. Or come to both!

On Saturday meet uphill at the water company/KTDE parking lot by 12:40 p.m. The Cypress Center parade lasts about one half hour.

On Sunday assemble at the high school tennis courts at 11 a.m. Be prepare to pick up "accidents" by your Golden. Rick and Jeanne Jackson will provide water for the dogs. Red, white and blue scarves will be available for the dogs, courtesy of Peter and Tony. Elise and Davina will again carry the brigade sign, which will have new embellishments by Jeanne Jackson.

Happy 4th of July!

So this is the way you people celebrate Independence Day? By celebrating dogs and birds? How about commemmorating the principles upon which this Nation was founded? Oh, I don't know, like limited government, individual liberty, and property rights? Isn't that what the Fourth is about?

Yes we do, and we enjoy many other activities too.

The Golden Retriever Love Brigade is real. Come join us at either the Cypress Center on Saturday or Pt. Arena on Sunday. See firsthand how we celebrate our individual liberty and everything that entails! (No pun intended.)

Drop your guard, have a laugh then realize we agree on much and differ on little.

See you there!

Anonymous, it's too bad you can't see the joy involved with the Golden Retriever Love Brigade. It is small town fun and beloved by coastal residents - especially children. Sorry, it has nothing to do with property rights but everything to do with Golden Love. If you are a resident, come to the Point Arena parade, open your heart and experience it for yourself!

Hi,
The Love Brigade was a lot of fun for the people and the pups. Our 2 pups (Petey & Rosie) had a great time.

Has anyone posted any pictures from the 2 events. I would love to see some pictures that others took.

Thanks to all that put it together and I hope to see you again next year.

Hey Anonymous lighten up this was a small part of our celebration. I was not able to attend as I was feeding the people commemmorating our government-liberty and property rights but did you forget Independence? Some walk in parades with guns some walk with golden's. How do "you people participate?"

I feel that you could do with a few % to drive the message house a little bit,
however other than that, that is wonderful blog. A great read.

Incredible! This blog looks just like my old one!

It's on a totally different topic but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Great choice of colors!
